Three Links Camp

The Three Links Camp is locaed about 1 1/2 hours from Stockton, a little over two miles from Mi-Wuk Village.

The Three Links Camp is getting ready to open for the summer. All Odd Fellows and Rebekahs are invited and encouraged to visit the camp sometime during the week, June 24-28, to see and stay. But you are welcome anytime during the summer.

The Youth Camp Festivsal is
Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28
Both Charity Lodge #6 and Scio Lodge #102
have tickets available for members for
Dinner on Sunday and/or Breakfast on Sunday.

Wednesday night will be popcorn and a movie.
Thursday game night and ice cream social.
Friday night will be Bonfire and smores.
Saturday will be Festival, fishing and recognition and awards will be concluding with a dinner and dance.
Sunday will be Chapel Service and Breakfast.

Members may stay in a dorm bed for $12 per night per person
or $72 per week. Tent Space is available for $12.
RV Space for two people is $20, $2 per extra person.

1959 UN Pilgrimage Delegates Slate 50 Year Reunion in Redwood City

REDWOOD CITY – A 50 Year Reunion for the 1959 Odd Fellows U.N. Pilgrimage For Youth Tour from California will be held on Saturday, June 27. Kay Pudge Barnes of Orangevale and Tom Fernandez of Redwood City, both U.N. Pilgrimage delegates from Elk Grove, are hosting the event. The reunion will be held at Tom & Lee Fernandez's home, 595 Marlin Court, Redwood City, CA 94065.

An Open House will be held from Noon into the evening for Pilgrims and Leaders to visit, share memories, and catch up on the past 50 years. Appetizers and drinks will be served during the afternoon. A buffet dinner will be served around 5 PM.

They have been in contact with 25 of the 1959 Pilgrims sent by lodges in California, Nevada, and Utah. The tour leaders were the late Carl Reitz and Vivian Kara from California and Geneva Lewis of Utah. Pat Barnard Player of El Cerrito and Don R. Smith of Linden were on the Pilgrimage staff that year in New York City.

Central California:

 

Odd Fellows Lodge # 163 & Violet Rebekah Lodge # 42 in concert have been taking youths from the Odd Fellow/Rebekah Childrens Home, to the California Rodeo (Ro-de-o) in Salinas since 1928.
The youths are transported from the Childrens Home in Gilroy to the Salinas Lodge for refreshments, then transported to the Rodeo.
