History of the Location
Campo Seco Odd Fellows Lodge originally met in Campo Seco from 1857 – 1873. This little town, fading fast, most of the members were coming from Jenny Lind, so in 1873 the Lodge moved to Jenny Lind. In 1874 the members built an Adobe brick buiding on Odd Fellows Street in town. By 1887 many of the members were coming from Milton, so the Lodge sold the building and property to the school district for $60.00. This buidling was lost in a fire in 1960. In 1904, the members were now mostly coming from Jenny Lind and Valley Springs, so the Lodge again moved to it’s current location in Jenny Lind. The hall was built on property donated to the Odd Fellows by the Sinclair Brothers, who were members of the order. This town also has an Odd Fellows Cemetery which is located at the end of Mann St.

History of the Location
This lodge was instituted at Michigan Bar, Ca in 1856 and met in this small little town for the next 9 years. In 1865, they petitioned the Grand Lodge of California to move to Latrobe. The original meeting hall in Latrobe was destroyed by fire in 1915 and the lodge lost all records. The current building is a fine hall with an active Lodge. The downstairs has a nice large dining room and stage.
Michigan Bar is located just south of the Michigan Bar bridge on Michigan Bar Rd. But the town is now a part of Sloughhouse. If you make this trip, the ride is nice, but the road is graded dirt. And for a short hike, there is a Michigan Bar Cemetery further up the rd. and off the beaten path to the west.

History of the Location
Morningstar Lodge #20 was instituted 1854 in Placerville by D.D.G.M. Moses Hymeman. The Lodge met in a rented meeting hall along with several other fraternal orders including Franklin Odd Fellows Lodge #74.
In 1910 this hall was lost, along with all records and personal property of the Lodges, Franklin Lodge, being small could not withstand the loss and at the end of the year, consolidated with Morninstar.
In 1911 the Lodge dedicated their new Hall, a fine meeting place with a spring board floor so that dances could be hosted in the meeting room. The stone used in this bldg. is mined from the local placerville quarries and is one of the nicest halls of the area.

History of the Lodge
Sacramento Lodge #2 was instituted by DD Grand Sire James Smiley, a charter member of California Lodge #1. The institution was held in the “Red House” loacted at 5th & J St. in sacramento, the same building where the Masons met.
On January 27th 1951 the Lodge celebrated their 100th anniversary in the Silver room of the Odd Fellows temple located at 9th & K st.
This Lodge, along with Eldorado #8 and Occidental Encampment own a very nice cemetary.
History of the Location
This Lodge has had 7 homes. First meeting in the “Red House” from January 1851 – March 1851 when they relocated to the “Whitney Bldg.” located at 4th & J st.
In December 1852 the Lodge moved to the “Stanford Bldg.” located at 3rd & K st. but this bldg. was lost to fire so the members again had to move, this time to the Bennett Bldg. located on J st. between Front & 2nd st.
They moved again, date uncertain, to the St. George Bldg. at the SE corner of 4th & J st. and stayed here until their new and magnificent hall was built on the corner of 9th & K.
This hall stayed in use for the several area lodges until the changing times made it unsafe for the membership to remain. They sold this hall in 1984 and purchased a nice building where they meet to this date on Howe Ave.
